Rules + How To Pay

General
​
-All communication will be done over email.
​
-Before proceeding with the final product, I will send you a few mockup sketches or thumbnails for you to discuss with me and to give you an idea on what the final product might look like. This will not affect the price.
-If you want me to illustrate your own characters, please provide the relevant reference images and/or descriptions. The same rules apply if you would like me to draw you or someone specific.
-If you would like me to make changes to your product, contact me as soon as possible and I will revise it up to three times with no extra charge.
-If you need the working file, please let me know.
-Please give me constructive feedback on how I can improve my artwork! It really helps! You don’t have to be super elaborate or sugar coat your words, but even something like “You should work on the proportions of your human characters” will help!
-Commissions are subject to availability, and slots are allocated on a first-come-first serve basis. Commissions will be closed when all slots are filled up.
-Commissions will be opened up or closed depending on my schedule. When time for commissions is scarce, commissions will be closed regardless on how many slots are open. For commission updates, please follow me on social media to know when they will be open!
-Questions? Comments? Enquiries? Feel free to send me an email!

-I have the right to turn down jobs if my art will be used for hateful or harmful purposes.
Payment:
​
-All prices listed are in USD. You have the option to pay in your own currency on Paypal, but you might be subject to conversion fees by Paypal or the bank.
​
-Paypal is prefered, but you can also pay by credit card.
​
-I do not accept cryptocurrency as payment.
​
-The final commission will be started as soon as payment is made.
​
-Please pay the exact amount for the commission.
​
-I accept refunds.
-Unless otherwise stated, prices are non-negotiable.
Usage
-If you wish to repost or use my art for commercial purposes, please credit me as “Natty Kay” and leave links to my website and my social media accounts.
-Commissions that will be used for commercial purposes (i.e for use for merchandising) are an additional $20. This gives you the rights to use the artwork.

-Unless it is a commission for commercial use, all commissions are copyright of me, so please do not remove the watermark in my artwork.
​
-My work may not be minted or sold as NFTs, nor will they be used for crypto or blockchain related projects.
​
-My artwork may not be used for hateful or malicious purposes, annd any commissions requesting to do so will be rejected.
-If you’re requesting a commission as a gift to someone else, that’s perfectly fine! Just make sure all parties credit me if they repost.
-Due to COVID-19 restrictions, I cannot mail originals of traditionally done commission work. Under normal circumstances however, you can request for the original to be mailed to you at no extra cost (you only need to pay for shipping) This is subject to change as COVID-19 guidelines change.

How To Pay

1. You will receive a Paypal invoice by email. Be sure to check all your folders, including the spam folder. Please save the email for both payment and records.

2. Click on the "Pay Invoice" button.
​
3. You will be directed to a login screen that asks you to log in. If you have a Paypal account, you can login and

4. If you don't have a Paypal but have a credit card, click the "Debit or Credit" option.
​
5. Done! It might take a few days to process. If any problems arise or you have any questions, please email me ASAP.

-Any kind of fictional creature (like dragons, fairies. Etc. Original creatures are also welcomed.)

-Machines. (as long as it’s not too complicated. If it’s one you made yourself, please give me reference pictures or a detail description)

-Fan art of popular culture

-Natural settings

-Vegetation and fungi
​
-Buildings
-Man-made objects

-Vehicles
​
-Your original characters (please provide reference images or a detailed description of them)

-Concept art (concept art commissions offered on a first-come first-serve basis, slots limited. Contact me for more information)
-Character design (see the Commissions Offered section for more details)

-Prop/background design (depends on how large your project is)
-Short comics (less than five pages). This might change.
-Vectors
-Nudity
-Mild violence and sexual themes
What I cannot or will not draw:
-Anything beyond my skill level. (Please see my portfolio website to get a glimpse in what my skill level is. This is subject to change as my skillset evolves)
-Extreme pornography
-Nudity and sexual themes are acceptable as long as they aren’t harmful/disturbing/etc. (see my rule about bigotry). If your request contains any of this, your commission cannot be used for commercial purposes.
-Strong or extreme violence
-Mild violence is doable, however. Any NSFW commissions cannot be used for commercial purposes.
-Incest, rape, lolicon, shotacon and depictions of pedophilia.
-Depictions of beastiality
-Racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist and/or classist content. Basically any bigotry.
-Anything photorealistic. (The most I can do is semi-realism)
-Things that are plagiarized. (No recolors of official art passed off as original characters please!)
-Things intended to hurt others (This includes celebrities and politicians)

-Large projects like ongoing comics or ad campaigns. (These are time consuming and I have other projects to do, apologies)
